Costa Rican Coffee
Known throughout the world as the best coffee, our “golden bean” is 100% from the Arabic species, specifically from the Caturra and Catuai varieties. This combination produces an excellent cup with exceptional characteristics: aromatic, fine, and pleasant.
Thanks to our beautiful country’s topography, Costa Rican coffee is grown on fertile ground with volcanic origins and low acidity. The majority of our plantations are located between an altitude of 850 and 1,000 meters and with temperatures between 17 and 28 centigrade.
Costa Rican coffee is currently cultivated in 8 important production zones of the country. Each zone contributes its own distinctiveness in the production depending on the topographic characteristics of each one. Among these zones, the most important are: Tarrazú, Brunca, Tres Ríos, Turrialba Central and Occidental Valley.
In each cup of Leaves n Trees coffee you will savor the best selection of our “golden bean”.
